MANGANESE is a premium-grade manganese steel alloy formulated to be used in crushing applications where HIGH ABRASION RESISTANCE is required. Crusher jaw and cone liners made in Maxwear premium-grade 21% manganese steel have been proven to last significantly longer in crushing tough and highly abrasive rocks or metallic ores. This alloy is able to WORK-HARDEN much faster than STANDARD MANGANESE steel and prevents the initial profile of the crusher liner from being worn away by the abrasive media at the earlier stages of crushing.
